DARRYN SOLOTOFF

Darryn graduated from Ithaca College in 1999 with a
Bachelor of Science degree in human performance and
human movement with a concentration in the fields of
physical education, health education and coaching.  He
was a competitive collegiate wrestler and rugby player.

Darryn began his coaching career at Ithaca High School where
he coached wrestling and football, and helped lead his athletes
to an impressive New York State Team Championship while
developing individuals into some of the most coveted high
school wrestlers in the country.

Darryn went on to teach health and physical education in the
North Shore School District and took over the head wrestling
coach position at Cold Spring Harbor High School.  He has
coached high school athletes and furthered the development
of high school athletic programs for over ten years.

Darryn began swimming with AquaFit Masters several years ago by way of
triathlon community connections and has competed in the following events:
2 x 10K SAA Sound-To-Cove Swim
4 x Ironman Lake Placid Finisher
1st Place Age Group Finish Jones Beach Triathlon
Diamondman Half Ironman in Delaware
2 x Runners Edge Tobay Sprint Triathlon
Greenbelt 50K Ultra-Marathon Trail Run

Darryn is an ASCA Level 2 certified swim coach with
CPR, AED, Standard First Aid & Safety certifications.
