Richard M. Infield
A charter member of AquaFit
Masters, Richard continues to play an
invaluable role in our program from coaching and teaching, to general
program and event administration, to computer technology advice.
An avid sports enthusiast,
Richard enjoys participating in all sports
from swimming to soccer, baseball to cricket, and much more. With
over 25 years of global Masters swimming competition (UK, USA and
various European events), Richard brought his love for sports to this
country when he ran the West Side YMCA and coached their masters
swim team during the 1990's before joining up with AquaFit Masters.
A former USMS Open Water
All-American swimmer and Swim Across
America 10K finisher, Richard has also participated in USMS National Cable
Open Water Swim Championships, and USMS and UK Swimming Nationals.
Richard is the former
Metropolitan LMSC Vice Chairman and a current Swim
Across America Executive Committee member & Beneficiary Committee Chairman.

Director, Richard obtained his Undergraduate
and Post-Graduate degrees in Chemistry from Manchester University (UK).
Hobbies & Interests:
Participating in and attending a variety of
sporting events; music, history, travel, science and technology.
