While living and studying in
South Florida, Lisa participated in the Bud Light
Sprint Series of triathlon at the very beginning of the sport. She went on to
work
in cardiac rehabilitation in South Florida, before heading back to her native
New
York to obtain a second Masters Degree in Education in 1992 from C. W. Post.
Lisa became a New York State
Certified Physical Education teacher and taught in both
the Syosset and Roslyn school districts. An avid runner with six marathons and
countless
half marathons to her credit, Lisa has re-entered the world of triathlon with a
vengeance.
