Kevin Grant
A member of AquaFit Masters for
many years, Kevin joined our
coaching staff three years ago to lend his competitive swimming
background and coaching expertise to our evening program.
A former age group, high school
and collegiate swimmer
who
also played club water polo, Kevin was a conference
finalist in swimming for
SUNY @ Binghamton.
Kevin has coached the Freeport
age group and Long Beach age
group swim teams and the Uniondale High School swim teams.
Aside from pool and open water
swimming, Kevin enjoys the great
outdoors and traveling extensively. These interests have motivated
his participation in a variety of multi-sport endeavors that have taken
him all around the country and beyond, from running half marathons
to a multitude of long distance bike tours (the 400 mile Maine and
Finger Lakes tours, and 450 mile Glacier bike tour, to name a few).
Kevin obtained his Masters degree
in Education
from Long Island University C. W. Post campus, and
is currently an educator in the Uniondale school district.
