DIRECTIONS TO THE NASSAU COUNTY AQUATIC CENTER
To use MAPQUEST online service, type in the following address:
Merrick Avenue & Charles Lindbergh Boulevard, East Meadow, NY 11554
The Nassau County Aquatic Center is located in East Meadow - not in Garden City - and is bordered by Old Country Road on the north, Merrick Avenue on the west, and Hempstead Turnpike on the south. Access pool parking lot from Merrick Avenue.

From Points East & West on the NORTH Shore
Take the Grand Central Parkway/Northern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway SOUTH to Exit M3 Stewart Avenue. Stay in LEFT exit ramp lane and then turn RIGHT at stop sign at end of exit ramp. Turn LEFT at first traffic light heading EAST on Stewart Avenue. At the end of Stewart Avenue, do NOT enter Eisenhower Park. Instead, turn RIGHT driving SOUTH on Merrick Avenue. First traffic light is Charles Lindbergh Boulevard. At SECOND traffic light, turn LEFT into pool parking lot #1A. If parking lot is full, alternative parking is available in lots #1 and #6A.

From Points East & West on the SOUTH Shore
Take the Southern State Parkway to Meadowbrook Parkway NORTH to Exit M5 Hempstead Turnpike EAST. Immediately move over to LEFT turn lanes and turn LEFT at first traffic light. Drive NORTH on Merrick Avenue alongside Eisenhower Park. Pass the first parking lot and Safety Town. At second Park entrance (Aquatics Center sign is posted at entrance), turn RIGHT at traffic light into pool parking lot. If parking lot is full, alternative parking is available in lots #1 and #6A.

From Whitestone & Throgs Neck Bridges & from LaGuardia Airport
Take Cross Island Parkway SOUTH to Exit 29 Grand Central Parkway EAST (becomes Northern State Parkway at Queens/Nassau County border). Go to Meadowbrook Parkway and follow above directions from the North Shore.

From Verrazano Narrows Bridge & from Kennedy Airport
Follow signs to Belt Parkway/Long Island East. Take Belt Parkway past Kennedy Airport. After airport stay in LEFT lanes and follow signs to Southern State Parkway EAST. Follow above directions from the South Shore.

Long Island Railroad
Call 516-822-5477 for schedule & fare info, or visit www.mta.nyc.ny.us/lirr online for information. Take the Long Island Railroad to either the Westbury (closest), Carle Place, Hicksville or Mineola train stations. Pool is between five and 15 minutes by taxi.
